Biografie
Oscar Benjamin Hollmer (*2010) wusste schon mit knapp drei Jahren, dass das Cello sein Instrument ist. Er ist Jungstudent an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar in der Klasse von Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt und Stipendiat der Deutschen Stiftung Musikleben, der Musikakademie in Liechtenstein, der Stiftung Musik & Jugend Liechtenstein sowie des Perlman Music Program New York. Oscar ist Preisträger des 32. Wettbewerbs des Deutschen Musikinstrumentenfonds, mehrfacher 1. Bundespreisträger bei „Jugend musiziert“, Gewinner des Beethoven Bonnensis Wettbewerbs sowie des Beethoven-Interpretationspreises und 1. Preisträger des Fanny Mendelssohn International Online Competition. Er wurde unter anderem mit dem Jugendkulturpreis Wuppertal sowie mehrfach mit Kammermusikpreisen des Deutschen Tonkünstlerverbands und des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen ausgezeichnet. Als Solist trat Oscar unter anderem mit dem WDR-Funkhausorchester und dem Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen sowie bei den „Highlights der Klassischen Musik“ in Liechtenstein auf.

The Annual Family Concert at The Perlman Music Program aims to inspire the children and families of the East End community with a fun introduction to the world classical music and the joy of learning and playing the violin, viola, and cello. This multi-faceted production is presented by Summer Music School students and faculty, and features musical performances, a musical skit, and an instrument “Petting Zoo”, during which young children are invited to tryout youth-sized instruments with hands-on supervision and coaching from PMP students

Trio Futuro
Das Trio Futuro hat sich 2024 gegründet.
Die drei befreundeten jungen Musiker*innen haben sich im Jungstudium kennengelernt
und in dieser Besetzung 2025 und 2026 1. Bundespreise bei „Jugend musiziert“, mehrere
Sonderpreise und den renommierten WDR 3 Klassikpreis der Stadt Münster gewonnen.
Gemeinsam sind sie seit 2025 Stipendiaten der Jürgen Ponto-Stiftung Berlin.
Alle drei Musiker*innen spielen Instrumente aus dem Musikinstrumentenfonds der
Deutschen Stiftung Musikleben: Frieda eine Violine von Richard Tobin, London 1834,
Philipp eine Violine von Carlo Annibale Tononi, Venedig 1727 und Oscar ein Violoncello
von Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi, Florenz ca.1768.
